BSAP Membership

Types of Membership:

1. Individual Member:

Any person with Postgraduate qualification and an interest in Biological Safety shall be eligible for Individual Membership. Individual Members shall be eligible to vote , to hold office , to serve on committees and to enjoy other rights of association.

2. Student Member:

A graduate /post- student with interest in Biological Safety shall be eligible for Student Membership. Student Members shall not have the right to vote or hold elective office.

3. Corporate Member:

Any organization/ company with interest in Biological Safety shall be eligible for Corporate Membership. Corporate members will be eligible to vote, hold office , serve on committees and present literature or appropriate displays at BSAP meetings.

Seminar on "CONGO HAEMORRHAGIC FEVER", organised by Pakistan Society for Microbiology (PSM), Infection control Society of Pakistan (ICSP)& Biosafety Association of Pakistan (BSAP), will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010, at Arag Auditorium, Dow Medical College (DMC) from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

A Joint Meeting by Pakistan Society for Microbiology (PSM), Infection control Society of Pakistan (ICSP)& Biosafety Association of Pakistan (BSAP) on the issue of spreading Crimean–Congo hemorrhagic fever in Karachi, was held on Saturday July 10, 2010 at office of PVC, University of Karachi.

Biological and Chemical Safety Workshop, organized by Biosafety Association of Pakistan (BSAP) and National Institute of Child Helath (N.I.C.H-JPMC) was held on June 29, 2010 between 11:00 am -1:00 pm at NICH Auditorium. See 'Events' in the 'Resources' tab to download full program.

Workshop on Laboratory Biosafety, organized by Biosafety Association of Pakistan (BSAP) in collaboration with Civil Hospital Laboratory-Karachi was held on Nov 07, 2009.

Biosafety Association of Pakistan (BSAP) became the Member of International Federation of Biossafety Association and Pakistan consortium for Scientific Societies.
